Spiritual Programme
Magha Pournami – Sree Rudra Homam
As part of our monthly spiritual observances, the school solemnly performed Sree Rudra Homam on the auspicious Margasira Month Pournami Day, 3rd January, 2026 this year as well. The sacred ritual was conducted in the morning with devotion, invoking divine blessings for the well-being, prosperity, and harmony of the institution. Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam was held in the evening, filling the atmosphere with serenity and spiritual fervour. This holy ritual was followed by Konda Harati which was offered reverently by the members of the school management, the Principal, and teachers.
Spiritual Discourse
A spiritual discourse was organised at our Vidyalaya on 8th January, 2026. Swami Shankarananda Giri, a sannyasi of Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. They took part in the Sankranthi festival organised by the Pre-primary section. In his enlightening address, Swamiji spoke about Sri Sri Paramahamsa Yogananda and highlighted the ideals, lineage, and contributions of the Yogoda Satsanga Society.As part of the session, students participated in a three-minute guided meditation and took positive affirmations to cultivate positive thoughts and inner calm. The discourse inspired the audience with its spiritual insights. The programme concluded with the felicitation of the guest and a vote of thanks. Members of the School Managing Committee, Executive Committee, teachers, and nearly 400 high school students were present.

Vasantha Panchami
Vasantha Panchami was reverently observed on 23rd January, 2026 by the students of the Pre-Primary Wing. The students and teachers offered prayers and paid tribute to Goddess Saraswathi, seeking her blessings for wisdom and learning. The programme was graced by the Principal, who attended the celebration and blessed the students. The children recited devotional songs in praise of the Goddess, creating an atmosphere filled with devotion and joy. The celebration was a harmonious blend of spirituality and festivity, leaving the young learners enriched and happy

31st yoga competitions
Master Divyananda received the Third Prize in the 31st Yoga Competition organised by the Government of Puducherry Tourism Department.

Runner Up at Trophy Tournament
The Football Trophy Tournament was held on 30 January 2026 with enthusiastic participation from different teams. SV Arts College Boys emerged as the winners of the tournament, while the BVB Boys team secured the runners-up position.
Parakram Divas
Our students took part in the KV quiz on the occasion of Parakram Diwas and obtained 4th place.
Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0
As part of the initiative, the school organized a tree plantation drive in the school premises and community, during which 1,321 saplings were planted with active student participation. In recognition of this contribution, the school received a School Participation Certificate from Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE.

Prize day celebrations
Encouraging Young Achievers The school organized Annual Day Prize Distribution Celebrations from 2nd January to 7th January, 2026 for 8 different student categories, including Pre-Primary, Classes I–III, Classes VI–VIII & XI–XII, and Classes IV–V & IX–X. Separate sessions were conducted to ensure focused appreciation of students' achievements. In each category, nearly 75 to 90 prizes were awarded for co-curricular inter-house competitions and club activities, promoting holistic development. The prize winners were presented with certificates, story books, motivational books, and general knowledge books. The members of the school management distributed the prizes and encouraged the students, motivating them to continue striving for excellence in both academic and co-curricular pursuits. .
36th Annual Day Celebrations
The 36th Annual Day was celebrated on 9 January, 2026 with great enthusiasm at the school auditorium. Prof. Tata Narasinga Rao, Vice-Chancellor, Sri Venkateswara University, was the Chief Guest, with Sri Kadiyam Venkata Narayana Rao as Guest of Honour and Dr. K.N. Satyanarayana, Director, IIT Tirupati, presiding over the function. The programme included the presentation of the Annual Report, release of the school magazine Darpan, distribution of awards to achievers, and vibrant cultural performances by students. The celebration showcased the school's academic excellence and rich cultural heritage.

All four Houses won the Rolling Shields by securing either the Winner or Runner-up positions. Students and House Wardens were delighted to receive the cups and shields from the Chief Guest. Nearly 300 students, from LKG to Class XI, participated in the cultural programme. The one hour presentation was keenly witnessed by the audience, who appreciated the dedicated efforts of both students and teachers
77th Republic Day Celebrations
The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great patriotic spirit at our Vidyalaya on 26th January, 2026. The programme began with the rendition of Vande Mataram, followed by the unfurling of the Tricolour by the Director. The Principal addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of the Indian Constitution. The Director, while reminiscing about his school days and participation in flag hoisting ceremonies, spoke on the vital role of students, the wide opportunities before them and motivated them to serve the nation with dedication. Certificates were distributed to the apex body members, followed by a colourful cultural programme. Students of Class IX presented a mime on the theme Incredible India. Middle school students rendered a patriotic Veena recital accompanied by Mrudangam. Commemorating 150 years of Vande Mataram, 150 students presented a powerful choral rendition of the complete song, which enthralled the audience. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the School Head Boy, and sweets were distributed to all students.
CBSE Activities
Parakram Diwas was observed from 20th to 23rd January, 2026 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. In accordance with CBSE guidelines, a series of meaningful activities were conducted to instil national values and a spirit of self-reliance among the students. Senior Secondary students created MEMEs highlighting examination ethics and national values while Middle School students designed posters based on the theme of positive thinking. A run with placards carrying messages of self-reliance was also organised, spreading awareness and patriotic fervour. As a part of the programme, students engaged in indigenous games such as Satranj, Kabaddi, and Kho-Kho during the games period. Sessions on deep breathing exercises and meditation were also conducted, promoting physical fitness and mental well-being. The various activities not only motivated the students but were also thoroughly enjoyed by all the participants, making the celebration both meaningful and memorable.
3rd Parent Teacher Meeting
The Third Parent–Teacher Meeting was held on 24th January, 2026 from Class III to Class IX as well as for Class XI. As part of the programme, an orientation session was conducted for Class IX parents, whose wards will be entering Class X in the forthcoming academic year. Teachers and parents interacted constructively to discuss the academic progress and overall development of the students, strengthening the school–parent partnership.
Class X Parent-Student Orientation Programme
Class X Parent–Student Orientation Programme On 23rd January, 2026 from 9.00 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., an orientation programme was conducted for the parents and students of Class X. The session was focused on effective preparation strategies for the Board Examinations and creating awareness about Senior Secondary courses. The programme was addressed by the Principal and subject teachers, who shared valuable tips and guidance. Parents actively interacted with the concerned teachers and received practical suggestions to help students excel in the forthcoming Board Examinations.

Students of Class VII showcased innovative advertisements for their self-designed products as part of the 'Market' lesson in Social and Political Life, demonstrating creativity and a practical understanding of real world market concepts
Book Festival
18th Tirupati Book Festival: Inauguration
The 18th Tirupati Book Festival, organised by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Tirupati Kendra, was inaugurated on 31.1.26 at the Nehru Municipal High School playground, Tirupati. Dr. N Satyanarayana Raju, Convener of the Exhibition and Honorary Director and Treasurer of Bhavan, spoke on the institution's mission of preserving Indian culture and traditions and highlighted the value of book reading for intellectual growth. Presiding over the programme, Dr. Alladi Mohan, Dean of Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, Tirupati, emphasised the lasting joy and mental enrichment gained through reading. The chief guest, former Central Vigilance Commissioner Shri K. V. Chowdary, and the Guest of Honour, Panchasahasravadhani Dr. Medasani Mohan, stressed the importance of cultivating reading habits. The exhibition features 95 book stalls offering books on spirituality, education, science, medicine, history, and literature. Members of the Bhavan Committee, dignitaries, teachers, parents, students, and book lovers attended the programme.
A Heartfelt Farewell to Our Esteemed Colleagues
On 31.1.26, A warm farewell was accorded to Mrs. P Sowjanya, Incharge of English Department and Mrs. TV Chandana, Computer faculty as they departed from the school due to personal reasons. On this occasion, the Principal honoured them with a token of appreciation, acknowledging their sincere service and commitment to the institution. Several teachers shared words of praise, recalling their dedication, professionalism, and positive impact on the school community. The moment was filled with mixed emotions, marked by gratitude, fond memories, and best wishes. The entire staff extended their heartfelt wishes for success, happiness, and fulfillment in their future endeavours.
